Global Institute of Technology's Hackathon Cell is student-run, faculty-backed, and obsessed with one thing: getting more students to ship.
Our story
What started in 2018 as a 40-person overnight coding night in the CSE lab now fills the Innovation Block with 400+ hackers, a mentor floor, and an alumni judging panel. Every hackathon we run is designed by students who were participants the year before.
We keep the format brutal and the support generous: hard problem statements, real deadlines, unlimited chai, and mentors who sit down and debug with you at 3am.

Mentorship, not judging panels
Every team gets a mentor check-in every six hours, so nobody spends the night stuck on setup.
